Rooiberg Community Visit

Rooiberg is a small community on the outskirts of Limpopo province. Simply put, it is nothing short of a miracle. The care and effort that has been poured into the community has produced a near self-sustaining machine of a community. Our friends and partners over at the RCCP (Rooiberg Community Care Project), have been of great help, allowing the Resolute Foundation to enter some schools in the area, introducing the students and teachers to robotics and coding. The Resolute family paid Rooiberg a visit to spend time team building and most importantly, host an Innovation Day at Itireleng Secondary. The entire day was filled with excitement as many students learned coding principles, collaboration and engaged with the bot at a fundamental level. Natalie: ‘We’re always happy to welcome visitors to Rooiberg. And when they visit to add value to our community, we are thrilled. Such visitors were from Resolute Foundation Bringing educational exposure to the children of our Primary and Secondary institutions is of endless worth. It was also a pleasure having had the opportunity to host their team at our establishment. We have become friends and love to think that we would collaborate in future again. Thank you for the bighearted contribution to our town.’
